The BB's were up a break in every set, two in the first, only to turn a win into a loss.

Lots of 7-6's lately. B-H were one point from 1-5 in the second, but came back. H served for the match at 6-5 but double-doubled, missed two volleys for four and out. The rope was tight. But he calmed down and played a great TB.

Brooks-Morrison def. Bryan-Blume 6-3 Br runs in front of Bl who was hitting a winner and gets nailed on the ear at critical break point. A first on the B court!

What a sway in mo! B-H missed lots of PW's in the second and almost lost 6-0, but found their way in time for the third.

Another "whatta match". Down from a cold start in set one, the BB's roared back to win. M served for the go-ahead at 5-4 and was broken. SB served for the match, and was also broken, leading to the breaker.

Singh-Blume def. Zaino-Keller
6-7, 6-1, 7-6
Whatta match! Tons of drama and comebacks from the brink for both teams. This was a Blume court classic. 2 1/2 hours for three sets. K-Z had triple match point on S's serve, and had B down 0-30 twice in the last set but didn't convert. S-B had tons of break points on Z only to be foiled by a net ticker, a horribly miss-hit ace, and some great shotmaking. News helicopters were flying over to film this historic match!

M hit more sidelines than is humanly possible. It almost seemed like his balls were changing course to land on the line. Lots of running as is usual with the mighty M.
